Retirement Information

  • Are you thinking about retiring?

    Complete the following steps: 

    Step One: Contact the WV Consolidated Public Retirement Board at 1-800-654-4406 (preferably at least 6 - 8 weeks before your anticipated retirement date).

    Note: The Retirement Board will determine eligibility, years of service and provide your retirement packet. The Cabell County Central/Business Office does not distribute retirement packets nor do they determine eligibility and number of years of service. 


    Step Two: Complete a resignation form provided by either office listed below.

    Step Three: Contact Retirement Coordinator Melissa Adams by email or by phone at 304.528.5204 to schedule an appointment to complete a     Benefits Coverage Package that includes health insurance, life insurance, dental and vision insurance, Cabell County Association death benefits, and other related insurance information.
